1. First of all, you will detach its base from the handle. 2. Remove underside screws so you can disassemble base unit cover. 3. Do not use long screws in these location as they will break the fittings. For that, you must have to note that where the three short screws go. | 4. Then what you have to do is to separate the gray cover from base unit. 5. You will remove cleaning bottom cover from the base and unlock it. 6. So, to separate the hose from the fitting, you will cut the hose in half then you will pull it and twist it at the same time. There is another way you can lift the hose. You can use needle nose pliers and twisting action. | 7. By pulling up and out at the same time, you can easily remove black socket hose from the base. 8. Must use grease for the exterior ends of the hose. You can also use oil. 9. So, the hardest step is here now, you will have to screw the new hose into black socket fitting. You will be putting little pressure on the hose and twisting it at the same time. So, you can get the hose started into the socket. Repeat this until the hose is fully inserted into the socket. | 10. Now you will be inserting the hose into other fitting, you will find that place in the neck of base unit. To get the hose started, you will have to twist it and push it. Again, repeat this step until the hose is above 50% into the fitting. 11. After doing all the above steps, you will assemble the base and cover. Remember, short screws first and then long screws. 12. In the end, lock the cleaning cover and plug in the vacuum cleaner. |
